Whether or not we want to admit it, it's the little things that make the biggest difference. This definitely holds true in the design world. I hate to see a room with beautiful furniture and style but the bookshelves look totally thrown together. Why not take the extra effort to create mini vignettes within each shelf? I'm a sucker for knickknacks and this is the perfect time to put them on display and make them worthwhile. I just re-organized our bookcases and my Fiance immediately noticed the difference when he walked in (I was shocked!).
