Honeymoon Highlights

The honeymoon is over. 

Literally. 

It was everything I imagined and so much more. 

Honestly one of the best trips of my life. It was everything you would want from a honeymoon - amazing scenery, beautiful weather, friendly people, no real schedule,

just pure relaxation with a little adventure thrown in. 

Here are a few highlights...

Honeymoon Fever

After getting married back in May we are finally gearing up for our honeymoon in just 10 days!!!!!

I feel like I've been waiting FOREVER!  

Not only will we be celebrating our marriage but the completion of my husbands first round of nursing school.  I'm so proud of him for embarking on this new career and he definitely deserves this vacay.

We would be happy going anywhere but we are lucky enough to be going to the beautiful island of Moorea in the French Polynesia. It's about 9 miles away from the Tahiti.

With all this excitement the girl in me is frantically trying to figure out what to pack!  I'm pretty sure I'll just be living in my bikini but if money was no object (and I looked good in anything) I would probably be packing some of this:

Flea Market Finds

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Have any plans for the weekend??  If not, I highly suggest hitting up your local flea market.

Last weekend I braved the heat and headed to one of my favorite spots - The Melrose Trading Post.  

 I was hunting for something specific but of course didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Luckily, even if I don't find anything I absolutely "need" it's always fun to scope out the treasures.

I couldn't walk away completely empty handed so I picked these goodies up...

I found these graphic prints that I plan on framing for a gallery wall I'm working on.

I also grabbed two T-shirts from the same vendor - The Poster List.

I'm not exactly sure what this brass pair is all about but I plan on cleaning them up and using them as candle holders. Love them!

Dreaming

One of my best friends got married this past weekend and it was an amazing, beautiful day.  I honestly couldn't be happier for the two of them! 

It was such a great time that I still haven't fully recovered....

All I want to do right now is crawl into bed and get some sleep!

Unfortunately my bedroom is currently a big mess with clothes coming out of suitcases and crap all over the floor. I would much rather my bedroom looked like this right about now.

Eye Candy

Once again I've been a little MIA because work & life have been CRAZY!! 

We are planning for 3 installs this week at work and my weekends have been packed with 

weddings & road trips.

Luckily I've managed to snap a few pics along the way.
